Description
The Madonna stands half-length, holding the Child in her arms. He has in his hand a peach that alludes to the Marian virtue of fecundity. Both look at the viewer, with a sweetness that moves. Crivelli, learning the use of Renaissance space from Andrea Mantegna, fused together Gothic elegance with a taste for gold and Byzantine decoration.

The work is made through the technique of Pictography, according to the ancient methods and natural materials; is handmade entirely in Umbria.
Each frame is made of solid wood, with a joint Interlocking; the first primer is based on Bologna chalk and glue natural; the following ones are in tempera. The decoration is handmade and, it is usually studied on the work it will have to contain. The design is inspired by the museum frames of the various eras.
