Description

It is a work of the full maturity of the artist known as "the painter of the Madonnas". Salvi, who completed his apprenticeship first at the Guido Reni, then at Domenichino, drew heavily on the models by Perugino and Raphael. His artistic production focused on on the devotional sphere and, in particular, on the Madonnas, of which he made numerous examples, even replicating them several times.

The work is carried out through the technique of Pictography, according to ancient and natural materials; it is handmade in Umbria.
