Description

St. Francis is kneeling and praying on the left in the painting. The confrere, on the other hand, is facing ™upwards and orders the devils to leave the city. On the left there is a majestic Gothic cathedral. On the right, on the other hand, the walls enclose the houses of Arezzo. Meanwhile, the devils crowd above the town. The Expulsion of the Devils from Arezzo is part of the stories of St. Francis that are in the Upper Basilica of Assisi.
