Description

The Embrace represents two lovers who hold each other in a passionate embrace full of feeling, the moment when the couple unites after the Wait. In the background the branches of the Tree of Life that with their spirals envelop the scene, pervading the observer. The only face that emerges from the embrace is that of the woman who seems to abandon herself to the man's shoulder. Their clothes and what surrounds them are bright gold, pieces of splendor that fit perfectly in virtuous games of geometric figures. The work, which closely resembles the famous Kiss, is based on geometric abstraction and very bright decorativism. The clothes of the two protagonists are bright gold, pieces of splendor that fit perfectly in virtuous games of geometric figures. Large tunics decorated with brown, black and white tones, some red, green and yellow inserts then enliven the fabric. The  bottom  is entirely made of gold leaf.
