Description
The High Priest, in the center of the painting, holds the right hand of St. Joseph and Mary. The two spouses are standing on either side of the officiant. On the left, St. Joseph offers a ring to Mary who holds out her hand. St. Joseph is dressed in a long, understated dark blue robe with an orange-yellow cloak. Her hair is short and falls down her neck. Little beard grows on the chin and the physiognomy is that of a mature man. In addition, with his left hand, he holds a flowering twig. Virgo has a very young appearance. The hair is gathered by a modest hairstyle. In addition, a transparent tape is wrapped around the nape of the neck. Maria wears a red dress, edged in blue and low-cut that reaches her feet. A dark blue cloak wraps almost the entire figure. The priest, on the other hand, wears a large ceremonial dress with golden decorations. His elderly face is framed by a long beard divided into two parts.
