Description
In the center of the painting, Mary is wrapped in a blue veil that covers her head and shoulders. The Virgin brings her right hand forward while with her left hand she closes the veil on her chest. You can also see the red dress covered by the fabric. The face and body are frontal. The gaze, on the other hand, is turned to the left downwards. The expression is fearful. The facial features are youthful and regular. To the left of the painting, there is a lectern. On it you can see an open book with the pages raised. Finally, the background is very dark and devoid of painted details.

The work is created through the technique of Pictography, according to the ancient methods and natural materials; is handmade entirely in Umbria.
Each frame is made of solid wood, with a joint; the first primer is based on Bologna chalk and glue natural; the following ones are in tempera. The decoration is handmade and, usually, it is studied on the work it will contain. The design is inspired by the museum frames of the various eras.
